Council: Developer Stole Vote
Some Westchester/Playa del Rey stakeholders felt that Playa Vista rigged the outcome of their second annual election by sending construction workers to vote. Nearly 1,700 ballots were cast in the election. The NC established its own election rules, decided to use an election day administrator that had no experience in overseeing NC elections, and decided to be the arbiter of their own election challenges instead of using an independent experienced third party, which is the common practice.
