Resolution (Englander - Wesson, Jr.) - Resolved, with the concurrence of the Mayor, and by adoption of this Resolution, the City of Los Angeles, hereby includes in its 2015-16 State Legislative Program its position for AB 2756 (Thurmond and Williams), that will enhance The Division of Oil, Gas, and Geothermal Resources (DOGGR) penalty to ensure that penalties assessed reflect the severity of the violation and serve as an adequate deterrent to violations.

Resolution (Wesson, Jr. - Englander - OFarrell) - Resolved, with the concurrence of the Mayor, and by adoption of this Resolution, the City hereby includes in its 2015-16 Federal Legislative Program its position to Section 2142 of S. 2658 (Thune), the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Reauthorization Act of 2016, that would prohibit state or local governments from enacting laws to regulate the operation of Unmanned Aircraft Systems in their jurisdiction.
