Resolution (Ryu - Wesson, Jr.) - Resolve, with the concurrence of the Mayor, and by the adoption of this Resolution, the City of Los Angeles hereby includes in its 2015-16 State Legislative Program its position for AB 2663 (Cooper), which would appropriate additional funds for the After School Education and Safety Program and require funds to increase as the Consumer Price Index increases.

Motion (Koretz - Huizar) - That the City Administrative Officer and the Chief Legislative Analyst, be instructed to work with the Department of Aging to identify specific areas of the Comprehensive Homelessness Strategy that can respond to the unique needs and challenges faced by homeless seniors and at-risk-of homelessness seniors and present them to Council for incorporation into the Strategy as soon as possible.

Motion (Bonin - Buscaino) - That the Council, pursuant to the Municipal Code, and the California Vehicle Code hereby prohibits the parking of vehicles that are in excess of 22 feet in length or over 7 feet in height, during the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m., along both sides of Sunset Avenue between Rose Avenue and Lincoln Boulevard.

Motion (Krekorian - Bonin - Wesson) - That the Council request that the Department of Water and Power report with a program to develop and implement a research partnership, utilizing relationships with the regions universities, members of the Southern California Public Power Authority, the California Independent System Operator, neighboring utilities and other stakeholders, with the objective of determining what investments should be made to achieve a 100 percent renewable energy portfolio.

Motion (Martinez - Krekorian) - That the Council instruct the Department of Transportation (LADOT) to report on the existing resources within LADOT that provide services for film, television and commercial productions, including the number of staff available to assist with permit approval and lane closures, and what resources, if any, may be needed in order to better serve and expedite service delivery to the film industry.
