Recommendations for Council action, SUBJECT TO THE APPROVAL OF THE MAYOR: 

  1. AUTHORIZE the General Manager, Economic and Workforce Development Department (EWDD), or designee, to negotiate and execute an agreement with the Coalition for Responsible Community Development in an amount not to exceed $50,000 in Community Development Block Grant funds for the period September 15, 2015 - September 15, 2016, subject to approval of the City Attorney as to form and legality, to provide marketing, outreach, and technical services for the Central Avenue Facade Improvement Program.

  2. AUTHORIZE the General Manager, Los Angeles Housing and Community Investment Department, or designee, to amend the Program Year 39 Consolidated Plan, if needed, to reflect the selection of this subrecipient.

  3. AUTHORIZE the EWDD to prepare Controller instructions and/or make any technical adjustments that may be required and are consistent with the intent of this motion; and, AUTHORIZE the Controller to implement these instructions.
