CONSIDERATION OF RESOLUTION (BONIN - WESSON - HARRIS-DAWSON) relative to establishing the City's position towards administrative action by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regarding more time to study and conduct public outreach on the FAA's Metroplex program.

 

Recommendation for Council action, SUBJECT TO THE CONCURRENCE OF THE MAYOR:

 

RESOLVE to include in the City's 2015-16 Federal Legislative Program SUPPORT for administrative action by the FAA to allow more time for Los Angeles World Airports and other impacted community stakeholders to study the full slate of Metroplex project documents; perform more in-depth, comprehensive public outreach to all potentially affected areas; and be amenable to altering and/or further studying individual procedures that will result in significant impacts to communities throughout Southern California.

 

Community Impact Statement: None submitted.
