TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE REPORT relative to prohibiting the parking of oversized vehicles on segments of Figueroa, West Albertoni, 189th, and 190th streets; and, Patrice Place.
Recommendations for Council action, as initiated by Resolution (Buscaino – O'Farrell):
-
RESOLVE, pursuant to Los Angeles Municipal Code Section 80.69.4, to hereby prohibit the parking of vehicles that are in excess of 22 feet in length or over 84 inches in height, during the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m., on 190th Street between the I-110 Freeway and Figueroa Street, West 189th Street from the dead end to Figueroa Street, Patrice Place from the dead end to Figueroa Street, West Albertoni Street between the I-110 Freeway and Figueroa Street, and Figueroa Street between 190th Street and the SR-91 Freeway.

DIRECT the Los Angeles Department of Transportation (LADOT) to post signs giving notice of a Tow Away, No Parking restriction for oversized vehicles, with the specific hours detailed, at the above locations.

AUTHORIZE the LADOT to make technical corrections or clarifications to the above instructions in order to effectuate the intent of this action.
Fiscal Impact Statement: Neither the City Administrative Officer nor the Chief Legislative Analyst has completed a financial analysis of this report.
Community Impact Statement: None submitted.

RESOLVE, pursuant to Los Angeles Municipal Code Section 80.69.4, to hereby prohibit the parking of vehicles that are in excess of 22 feet in length or over 84 inches in height, during the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m., on both sides of Bonaparte Avenue between Mascagni Street and McConnell Avenue, Grand View Boulevard between Greene and Gilmore Avenues, Greene Avenue between Grand View Boulevard and Lindblade Drive, McConnell Avenue between Bonaparte Avenue and Panama Street, Mascagni Street between Culver Boulevard and Short Avenue, Rubens Avenue between Walsh and McConnell Avenues, Patrae Street between Milton Street and the dead end to the north, Walsh Avenue between Mascagni and Beethoven Streets, and Inglewood Boulevard between Bray and Hammack Streets.
