Recommendation for Council action, SUBJECT TO THE APPROVAL OF THE MAYOR:

 

CONCUR in the action taken by the Board of Fire Commissioners at its meeting held August 19, 2014, approving the LAFD's FY 2014-15 Annual Cost of Special Services Fee Adjustments contained in the LAFD report to the Board dated August 4, 2014 (attached to the Council file).

 

Fiscal Impact Statement: The LAFD reports that should the recommended fees become effective July 1, 2014, it is projected that the associated fee increases will generate $27.5 million in revenues in FY 2014-15. This is an increase of $2.6 million over the estimated FY 2014-15 revenue prior to any fee increase.
