14-1066	MOTION (O'FARRELL - PARKS) relative to covering the costs of an expedited review of the striping and signal plan for the B-Permit design work. Recommendations for Council action, SUBJECT TO THE APPROVAL OF THE MAYOR: AUTHORIZE the Los Angeles Department of Transportation to accept up to $15,000 from Kilroy Realty, L.P., developer of the Columbia Square Project, deposit the funds into Fund No. 840/94, Revenue Source 5188 and APPROPRIATE therefrom to Fund 100/94, Salaries Overtime Account No. 001090, to cover the cost of an expedited review of the striping and signal plan for the B-Permit design work associated with the Project. AUTHORIZE the Controller to make any technical corrections or clarifications to the above instructions in order to effectuate the intent of this motion.

CD 2	CONTINUED CONSIDERATION OF HEARING PROTEST relative to the establishment of the North Hollywood Transit Business Improvement District, pursuant to Section 53753 of the California Government Code, Section 36600 et seq. of the California Streets and Highways Code and Article XIII D of the California Constitution. (Pursuant to Council adoption of Ordinance No. 183106 on June 11, 2014. Public announcement of the tabulation of ballots is on Tuesday, August 5, 2014.) ADOPTED AMENDING MOTION (KREKORIAN - O'FARRELL) Recommendations for Council action: INSTRUCT the City Clerk to apply the same assessment formula as LAUSD campuses to the two parcels associated with St. Paul's parochial school, thereby reducing the school's assessment from $5,750.55 to $2,339.48, in recognition of the fact that the parochial school is similarly situated to LAUSD campuses and should be treated similarly. INSTRUCT the CLA to report in one week with options as to the source of funding to cover the $3411.07 shortfall in the BID budget stemming from the reduced assessment for the parochial school.
