Department of General Services and Personnel Department to provide a progress report on efforts to address vermin and pest control issues within the Civic Center complex, City buildings and/or City-owned or operated facilities in the Downtown Los Angeles community; possible Council authorization and/or direction of actions to be taken by departments and offices, and authorizing required funding, to address same.

CONSIDERATION OF MOTION (HARRIS-DAWSON - HUIZAR) relative to the transfer of funds to the Los Angeles Department of Transportation (LADOT) for the design and community engagement regarding streetscape improvements on Crenshaw Boulevard.

Recommendations for Council action, SUBJECT TO THE APPROVAL OF THE MAYOR:

1. TRANSFER / APPROPRIATE $1,000,000 in the AB 1290 Fund No. 53P, Account No. 281208, Council District 8 Redevelopment Projects - Services, to the Transportation Grant Fund No. 655/94, Account No. 94PT84, for the design and community engagement relative to streetscape improvements, including public art, on Crenshaw Boulevard in Council District 8.
   
   
2. DIRECT and AUTHORIZE the LADOT to prepare, process and execute any necessary documents with any agency or organization, as appropriate, in the above amount, for the above purpose, subject to the approval of the City Attorney as to form.
   
   
3. AUTHORIZE the LADOT to make any corrections, clarifications or revisions to the above fund transfer instructions, including any new instructions, in order to effectuate the intent of this Motion.
