  2. REQUEST the City Attorney to prepare and present an Ordinance that will prohibit discrimination against Section 8 voucher holders in rental housing.

  2. INSTRUCT the City Homeless Coordinator, if the properties are determined to be suitable for development as crisis and bridge housing facilities, to coordinate with the Los Angeles County to identify funds for operations at the sites, including but not limited to County Measure H revenue.

MOTION (PRICE - CEDILLO) relative to accepting funds to be used for various public/community benefits (streetscape improvement in Council District Nine).

 

Recommendations for Council action, SUBJECT TO THE APPROVAL OF THE MAYOR:

 

  1. ACCEPT the amount of $250,000, contributed by the Applicant for various public / community benefits pursuant to the terms of the Coliseum and Soccer Stadium Signage Supplemental Use District (Council file No. 15-1541, Ordinance No. 184290), cause them to be deposited into the Council District Nine Public Benefits Trust Fund No. 48X/14 and transfer / appropriate this same amount therefrom to a new Account in the Long-Range Planning Fund No. 52F/68, entitled Exposition Square Streetscape, to be used for streetscape improvement, as further detailed in the text of this Motion.

  2. AUTHORIZE the City Clerk and the Department of City Planning to make any technical corrections or clarifications to the above fund transfer instructions in order to effectuate the intent of this Motion, including any corrections and changes to fund or account numbers.
