Recommendation for Council action:
REQUEST the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health to:
- Host a town hall meeting on the results of their in-home contaminants testing for both air quality and surface dust, as well as their health survey of residents. This meeting should cover the testing results and their health-related implications, as well as an explanation of their cleaning protocol recommendations, who to contact to arrange for this cleaning, and how it will be funded.
- Provide a dedicated hotline for residents in the five-mile relocation zone so that they may timely have their questions, or those of their health care practitioners, answered by subject experts.

Recommendation for Council action, SUBJECT TO THE CONCURRENCE OF THE MAYOR:
RESOLVE that the City of Los Angeles include in its 2015-16 State Legislative Program, SUPPORT for State Legislative efforts to allocate over $1.3 billion towards a variety of housing programs to address the affordability crisis.
