CONSIDERATION OF MOTION (FUENTES - O'FARRELL) relative to funding for community amenities in the vicinity of the Lopez Canyon landfill within Council District Seven.

 

Recommendations for Council action:

  1. UTILIZE $40,000 in the Lopez Canyon Landfill Community Amenities Trust Fund No. 531/14, Account No. L302, to fund any aspect of the efforts of the Los Angeles Mission College Foundation.

  2. UTILIZE $200,000 in the Lopez Canyon Landfill Community Amenities Trust Fund No. 531/14, Account No. L302, to fund any aspect of the efforts of the Discovery Cube Los Angeles for Environmental Support programs.

  3. DIRECT the City Clerk to prepare the necessary document(s) and/or agreement(s), including any contract amendments, with the above named organizations, or any other agency or organization, as appropriate, in the above amounts, for the above purposes, subject to the approval of the City Attorney as to form and legality, if needed; and, AUTHORIZE the Councilmember of the Seventh District to execute such agreement or other document(s) on behalf of the City.

  4. AUTHORIZE the City Clerk to make any technical corrections or clarifications to the above instructions in order to effectuate the intent of this Motion.

CONSIDERATION OF MOTION (KORETZ - WESSON) relative to funding for community-based programs and projects within the Palms Neighborhood Council area in the 2016-2017 fiscal year.

 

Recommendations for Council action, SUBJECT TO THE APPROVAL OF THE MAYOR:

  1. TRANSFER/APPROPRIATE $17,000 in the Neighborhood Council Fund No. 44B/47, Account No. 471100 (Palms Neighborhood Council) to a new Account in the Council District Five Real Property Trust Fund No. 687 entitled Palms Neighborhood Council FY2016-2017 Community Projects - said funds to be used for community-based programs and projects within the Palms Neighborhood Council area in the 2016-2017 fiscal year.  

  2. AUTHORIZE the City Clerk and Department of Neighborhood Empowerment to make any technical corrections, clarifications or revisions to the above fund transfer instructions, including any new instructions, in order to effectuate the intent of this motion, including any corrections and changes to fund or account numbers; said corrections/clarifications/changes may be made orally, electronically or by any other means.

CONSIDERATION OF MOTION (RYU - KORETZ) relative to funding for a pilot program of the Hollywood United Neighborhood Council to boost neighborhood council election turnout.

 

Recommendations for Council action, SUBJECT TO THE APPROVAL OF THE MAYOR:

  1. TRANSFER/APPROPRIATE $3,182 in the Neighborhood Council Fund No. 44B/47, Account No. 471070 (Hollywood United Neighborhood Council) to a new Account in the Council District Four Real Property Trust Fund No. 686/14 entitled Hollywood United Neighborhood Council Elections - said funds to be used for a program of the Hollywood United Neighborhood Council to boost neighborhood council election turnout.

  2. AUTHORIZE the Department of Neighborhood Empowerment to make any corrections, clarifications or revisions to the above fund transfer instructions, including any new instructions, in order to effectuate the intent of this motion, and including any corrections and changes to fund or account numbers; said corrections/clarifications/changes may be made orally, electronically or by any other means.
