Motion (Harris-Dawson - Koretz) relative to instructing the Department of City Planning, in consultation with the City Attorney, to prepare and present an Interim Control Ordinance (ICO), to prohibit the issuance of demolition, building, grading, and other applicable permits in C2 zones, where the property is located immediately adjacent to a R1 or more restrictive zone, fronts a Local Street, that has a lot width of 55 feet or less; and, additional instructions to include an urgency clause making the ICO effective upon publication, and consistent with California Government Code Section 65858, the ICO to run for 45 days, with a 10 month and 15 days extension by Council Resolution, which can be further extended for an additional year, or until the adoption of the appropriate land use regulatory and design provisions has been approved by the Department of City Planning, adopted by the Council and become effective, whichever occurs first.
