Minutes from the February 13, 2020 meeting were approved.

Presentations by Dr. Anne Rimoin, Ph.D., M.P.H., Professor, Department of Epidemiology; Director, UCLA Center for Global and Immigrant Health; Director, UCLA-DRC Health Research and Training Program, UCLA Jonathan and Karin Fielding School of Public Health, relative to providing a perspective on strategic planning for coronavirus (COVID-19) in Los Angeles; and Dr. Gilbert C. Gee, Ph.D., Professor, Department of Community Health Sciences, UCLA Jonathan and Karin Fielding School of Public Health, relative to racial discrimination in the context of illness.

Dr. Rimoin and Dr. Gee each discussed the coronavirus through PowerPoint presentations and responded to questions from the Commission Members.
